Hi all.

Just a quick message tonight and a photo blog of our last day in Dalby.  We left Dalby this morning and are now in the city of Toowoomba.  This was probably one of our shortest days so far, in that we only had to travel about 80 k's.

Our final day in Dalby was spent going for a stroll along the river that runs through the centre of Dalby.  They also have some gym equipment on the riverbank, and of course Deb had to try it out.  Of course, you would all know that I did a workout as well, but alas, there was no one to take my photo, as Deb was busy.  I have now changed from taking photos of churches to taking photos of birds.  It was probably about 15C so not as bad as had been forecast.

Have attached some photos of our walk and a couple from the Pioneer Museum in Dalby.  The ' Rules for Teachers' poster is pretty interesting.

Didn't have a good nights sleep as we were only about 500 metres from the saleyards.  Wednesday is sale day so there was about 6000 cattle and sheep in the holding yards overnight.  Bit hard to count sheep when those pesky cows wont shut up.

A cousin of the white bird with dark wings.

3 pelicans trying to push each other off the branch

They have a big bat population along the river.

Pretty green parrots.  Not related to the white bird above

That's all for now.
