Just a short note to let you know we have left that horrible place Echuca.  It just got so boring up there.  Just sunshine day after day.  How boring.  I think I actually got a bit of sunburn walking around on Monday.  How horrid, I think it got up to about 23C.

Spent our last day just being tourists. Plenty of walking around the town and had our final coffee at the Beechworth Bakery overlooking the river.  Doesn't get any better than this.  Went for a final bike ride around the caravan park before settling in for a night of Revenge and Amazing Race.  I know it is on everyones mind, but no, we did not set up that devil awning.  Would rather sit and enjoy the sunshine.

During the night (Monday) you could here a little bit of rain at different times, and I am now glad that I hooked up the van before going to bed.  Hate hooking up in the rain.  Off we went heading south looking for a better climate, yeh sure.  Just out of Bendigo, just over Big Hill, the temperature took a serious nose dive and it started raining.  By the time we got to Castlemaine we had to stop for a bit of a break and it was raining, windy and bloody freezing.  The temperature gauge of the jeep gave the outside temperature as 6C.  Just awesome.

After our coffee break we headed off looking for a sunnier climate, but alas, we finished up back at Ballarat where he had to visit the Caravan Maker to fix the DVD in the van.  After some quick fixes on a couple of issues we took up refuge in the nearest caravan park and locked ourselves into the van with the heater on.  Fair dinkum bloody freezing up here.  Obviously very important we buy a diesel heater before heading into the outback next year.  Deb looks like a penguin out in the cold having a smoke, hoodie up and rugged up and really enjoying that fag.  Probably the most exciting part is when she comes back inside and puts her freezing hands on me.  How lucky I am.

Anyway as long as we survive the frozen night we will be heading off to Horsham tomorrow.

By for now.
